Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
