۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
