The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Clatterer! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
