Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
