Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And what ye see not, 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
