Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
