۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
