We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
