And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin. 31 And do not approach adultery – it is indeed a shameful deed; and a very evil way. 32 And do not take a life, which God has forbidden, except in a just cause. We have given the right (of redress) to the heir of the person who is killed, but he should not exceed the limits (of justice) by slaying (the killer), for he will be judged (by the same law). 33 Do not go near the orphans' property, except with the best of intentions, until they reach maturity. Keep your promises; you will be called to account for every promise which you have made! 34 Fill the measure when ye measure, and weigh with a right balance; that is meet, and better in the end. 35 And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned. 36 And do not go about in the land exultingly, for you cannot cut through the earth nor reach the mountains in height. 37 Each of these - the vice thereof is unto thy Lord ever detestable. 38 This is (part) of Al-Hikmah (wisdom, good manners and high character, etc.) which your Lord has inspired to you (O Muhammad SAW). And set not up with Allah any other ilah (god) lest you should be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected, (from Allah's Mercy). 39 Has God chosen to give you sons, and taken for Himself daughters from among the angels? You utter grievous things indeed! 40
