Ad cried lies to the Envoys 123 When their fellowman Hud said to them, “Do you not fear?” 124 I am a trustworthy Messengers sent to you. 125 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 126 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being. 127 What, do you build on every prominence a sign, sporting, 128 And take ye for yourselves castles that haply ye may abide. 129 When you assault, you assault like tyrants. 130 So fear Allah, and obey me. 131 fear Him who has aided you with all that you know -- 132 He has given you cattle, children, 133 "And Gardens and Springs. 134 "Verily, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day." 135 They said: It is all one to us whether thou preachest or art not of those who preach; 136 This has been happening all along. 137 And we are not going to be tormented. 138 Then they accused him of lies; so We annihilated them. Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 139 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 140
