THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
