Hizb 46

And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Bring your Book, if you are truthful. 157 And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158 Exalted is Allah above what they describe, 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 But as for you, and that you serve, 161 You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him 162 Except the one who will go into the blazing fire. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 AND, INDEED, they [who deny the truth] have always been wont to say, 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. 173 (Muhammad), stay away from them for a while 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
