O My worshipers, there is no fear for you on this Day, nor will you grieve 68 Those who believed in Our communications and were submissive: 69 Enter ye the Garden, ye and your wives, in (beauty and) rejoicing. 70 There shall be sent round to them golden bowls and drinking-cups and therein shall be what their souls yearn after and (wherein) the eyes shall delight, and you shall abide therein. 71 Such is the Paradise that you shall inherit by virtue of your good deeds in the life of the world. 72 For you therein will be fruits in plenty whereof ye will eat. 73 Indeed, the criminals will be in the punishment of Hell, abiding eternally. 74 It will not be allowed to subside for them, and they, therein, are in despair. 75 And We did not oppress them at all, but they themselves were unjust. 76 And - they will cry: O keeper let thy Lord make an end of us. He will say: verily ye shall bide 77 We have certainly brought the truth to you: but most of you have an aversion for the truth. 78 What! have they settled some plan (among themselves)? But it is We Who settle things. 79 Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsels? Indeed (We do), and Our messengers are by them, to record. 80 Say: “If the Merciful One had a son, I would have been the first one to worship him.” 81 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of power, from what they describe. 82 Leave them to their vain discoursing and horse-play till they come to meet their promised day (of reckoning). 83 And it is Allah who is [the only] deity in the heaven, and on the earth [the only] deity. And He is the Wise, the Knowing. 84 And blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them and with whom is knowledge of the Hour and to whom you will be returned. 85 And those whom they call upon besides Him have no authority for intercession, but he who bears witness of the truth and they know (him). 86 And if you should ask them who created them, they would certainly say: Allah. Whence are they then turned back? 87 We call to witness the cry of the Messenger: “O Lord, these are a people not wont to believe!” 88 yet pardon them, and say, 'Peace!' Soon they will know. 89
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
