Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
