Hast thou not turned thy vision to thy Lord?- How He doth prolong the shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! then do We make the sun its guide; 45 Then We withdraw it unto Us, a gradual withdrawal? 46 It is He who has made the night as a covering for you, sleep as a rest for you, and the day for you to rise again. 47 It is He who sends the winds to you with the glad news of His mercy and who sends purifying rain from the sky 48 That with it We may give life to a dead land, and slake the thirst of things We have created,- cattle and men in great numbers. 49 And certainly We have repeated this to them that they may be mindful, but the greater number of men do not consent to aught except denying. 50 If We had so wished, We might have sent a warner into every town, 51 Do not yield to the unbelievers but launch a great campaign against them with the help of the Quran. 52 ۞ And it is He who hath mixed the two seas: this, sweet and thirst quenching; that, saltish and bitter; and hath placed between the twain a barrier and a great partition complete. 53 It is He who created man from water, then gave him consanguinity and affinity. Your Lord is omnipotent. 54 And yet, some people worship, instead of God, things that can neither benefit them nor harm them: thus, he who denies the truth does indeed turn his back on his Sustainer! 55 O Muhammad, We have sent you only to proclaim good tidings and to give warning. 56 Say: "For this, no reward do I ask of you - [no reward] other than that he who so wills may unto his Sustainer find a way!" 57 And rely on the Ever-living Who dies not, and celebrate His praise; and Sufficient is He as being aware of the faults of His servants, 58 In six days He created the earth and the heavens and all that is between them; then He established Himself on the "Throne" (of the Kingdom of the uriverse). (He is) the Merciful: as to His Glory, ask the one who knows. 59 And when it is said to them, “Prostrate to the Most Gracious” – they say, “And what is the Most Gracious? Shall we prostrate to whatever you command us?” And this command only increases the hatred in them. (Command of Prostration # 7) ۩ 60
