۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
