1/2 Hizb 44
< random >
۞ O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise. 15 If He will, He can put you away and bring a new creation; 16 That surely is not difficult for Allah. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 Not equal are the blind and the seeing, 19 nor darkness and light; 20 the shade and the torrid heat; 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 You, [O Muhammad], are not but a warner. 23 We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. 24 And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment. 25 In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! 26
