Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Honorable recorders, 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
