The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the heavens with constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 They sat by it 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
