Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
