And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
