Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Nay, would that you knew with certainty of knowledge (what your attitude will lead to, you would never have acted the way you do). 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8
