And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, and they remained averse to them. 81 And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated, and the mighty Koran. 87 Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 And proclaim, “Indeed I, yes I, am the clear Herald of Warning.” 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 Who have made the Quran into parts. (i.e. believed in a part and disbelieved in the other). 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 for whatever they have done! 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 and those who set up other gods with Allah, indeed, they will soon know. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
