(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages." 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 But when they had gone farther, he said to his servant: Bring to us our morning meal, certainly we have met with fatigue from this our journey. 62 He said: Didst thou see, when we took refuge on the rock, and I forgot the fish - and none but Satan caused me to forget to mention it - it took its way into the waters by a marvel. 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Moses said to him: "May I attend upon you that you may instruct me in the knowledge you have been taught of the right way?" 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 How canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge? 68 Moses said: "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient: nor shall I disobey thee in aught." 69 He said: If you would follow me, then do not question me about any thing until I myself speak to you about it 70
