The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
