The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
