We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
