Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
