And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 upon thy heart, that thou mayest be one of the warners, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like 'Abdullah bin Salam who embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 (But such is their adamance) that had We revealed it to one of the non-Arabs and even if he had recited (this clear Arabic discourse) to them 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then they will exclaim, "Could we have some respite?" 203 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 For reminder, for We never were oppressors. 209 And the Shaitans have not come down with it. 210 It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power, 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So do not call on any deity besides God, lest you incur His punishment. 213 and warn your nearest kinsmen; 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 Should I tell you on whom the devils descend? 221 They come to every sinful liar. 222 Who listens to you (for spreading rumours); but most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Did you not see that they keep wandering in every valley? 225 preaching what they do not practice. 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
