No, by the moon! 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning to mortals, 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 who will be in Paradise 40 about the guilty ones: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
