Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 high above? 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
