Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
