The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
