The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
