You who believe, seek help through patience and prayer; surely, God is with the steadfast. 153 Do not consider those who are slain for the cause of God to be dead. They are alive but you are unaware of them. 154 And most certainly shall We try you by means of danger, and hunger, and loss of worldly goods, of lives and of [labour's] fruits. But give glad tidings unto those who are patient in adversity 155 Who, when there afflicteth them an affliction, say: verily we are Allah's, and verily unto Him we are returners. 156 upon those rest blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those -- they are the truly guided. 157 ۞ Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to good,- be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth. 158 Indeed Allah curses, and the cursers, too, curse those who conceal the clear teachings and guidance We have sent down, after We have made these plain in the Book for the guidance of all mankind. 159 Except those who repent and amend and make manifest (the truth), these it is to whom I turn (mercifully); and I am the Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful. 160 Surely those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, these it is on whom is the curse of Allah and the angels and men all; 161 Their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be reprieved. 162 Your God is one God. There is no deity save Him. He is the Compassionate, the Merciful. 163
