Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 and who remember their Sustainer far into the night, prostrating themselves and standing; 64 Who say: 'Our Lord, turn from us the punishment of Gehenna, for its punishment is the most terrible; 65 evil it is as a lodging-place and an abode'; 66 who when they spend are neither wasteful nor miserly, between that is a just stand, 67 Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. 68 (But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,- 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 who pray, "Our Lord, bless us with wives and children, who may be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous. " - 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
