Nay! By the moon 32 and the night when it retreats 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 a warning to mortal man 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 except the people of the right hand 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 running away from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
Almighty God's Truth.
