What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 high above? 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
