Behold, Moses said to his attendant, "I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travel." 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 So when they had passed further on (beyond that fixed place), Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "Bring us our morning meal; truly, we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 Then they found one from among Our servants whom We had granted mercy from Us and whom We had taught knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: "May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?" 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 And how canst thou have patience over that which thy knowledge encompasseth not 68 Replied [Moses]: "Thou wilt find me patient, if God so wills; and I shall not disobey thee in anything!" 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
