Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
