The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O the Cloaked One! (Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) 1 Rise up and warn! 2 And thine Lord magnify! 3 And your garments do purify, 4 and defilement flee! 5 And give not a thing in order to have more (or consider not your deeds of Allah's obedience as a favour to Allah). 6 be patient unto your Lord. 7 So when the Trumpet will be blown. 8 that Day will be a hard and distressing Day. 9 For the disbelievers - not easy. 10 Leave Me with the one I created alone 11 To whom I granted resources in abundance, 12 and children as [love's] witnesses, 13 And for whom I smoothed everything. 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give yet more! 15 Nay, verily, it is against Our messages that he knowingly, stubbornly sets himself 16 I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As-Sa'ud, or to) face a severe torment! 17 Indeed, he thought and deliberated. 18 So let him be cursed! How he plotted! 19 yea, he destroys himself, the way he meditates! 20 Then looked he, 21 Then he frowned and he scowled; 22 Then turned he back, and grew stiff-necked. 23 and says, "All this is mere spellbinding eloquence handed down [from olden times]! 24 This is nothing but the word of mortal man!" 25 I will cast him into hell. 26 What do you think Hell-fire is? 27 It spares not (any sinner), nor does it leave (anything unburnt)! 28 It scorches the mortal. 29 there are nineteen [angels] in charge of it -- 30 We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire. We have specified their number only as a trial for those who are bent on denying the truth, so that those who were given the Book might gain in certainty, and those who believe might increase in faith -- and so that neither those who have been given the Scripture nor the believers might have any doubts, and that those sick at heart and those who deny the truth might ask, "What does God mean by this parable?" In this way, God lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. And none knows the forces of your Lord but He. This is but a Reminder for man. 31

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
