Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul. 2 What, does man reckon We shall not gather his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips. 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Resurrection?' 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 and the moon eclipsed, 8 And sun and moon are united, 9 on that Day man will ask, "Where can I escape?" 10 But there is nowhere to take refuge: 11 Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. 12 Man will be apprised, on that Day, of what he has done and what he has left undone: 13 In fact, people are well-aware of their own soul 14 even though he offer his excuses. 15 Do not move your tongue with it (the Revelation) to hasten it. 16 Indeed assembling the Qur’an and reading it are upon Us. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 Truly, you love immediate gain 20 and neglect the life to come. 21 Some faces will be radiant on that Day, 22 looking up to their Sustainer; 23 And that day will other faces be despondent, 24 Knowing that there will be made to befall them some great calamity. 25 Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit), 26 and it is said, 'Who is an enchanter?' 27 and he knows that it is the time of parting; 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 Unto thy Lord that day will be the driving. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
