Is it harder to create you or the heaven? But Allah built it, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
