Hizb 28
< random >
۞ God says: 'Take not to you two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me.' 51 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him is duty due always: then will ye fear other than Allah? 52 And whatever blessings you have, are all from Allah then whenever misfortune reaches you, towards Him only do you seek refuge. 53 And afterward, when He hath rid you of the misfortune, behold! a set of you attribute partners to their Lord, 54 In the end you will reject Our bounties. Enjoy yourselves; you will soon know (the consequences of your deeds). 55 They even appoint a share of what We have provided for them [to false gods] they know nothing of. You shall surely be questioned about the lies you have been fabricating. 56 They attribute daughters to God, the glorious, but for themselves whatsoever they please. 57 When the birth of a girl is announced to any of them, his face darkens and he is filled with gloom. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision. 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter, for them only is the evil state; and the Majesty of Allah is Supreme; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 60
