Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 to support me. 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 So that we should glorify Thee much, 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He said: surely thou art granted thy petition, O Musa! 36 "And indeed, We bestowed Our favour upon thee at a time long since past, 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 And I formed thee for Myself. 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 Go both of you to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel. 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing. 46 "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 HE IT IS who has made the earth a cradle for you, and has traced out for you ways [of livelihood] thereon, and [who] sends down waters from the sky: and by this means We bring forth various kinds of plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle, (therein); verily, in this are proofs and signs for men of understanding. 54
