Al-Jaatheyah 3 of 4

And Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth and that every soul may be rewarded for what it has earned and they shall not be wronged. 22 [Prophet], consider the one who has taken his own desire as a deity, whom God allows to stray in the face of knowledge, sealing his ears and heart and covering his eyes -- who can guide such a person after God [has abandoned him]? Will you not take heed? 23 They have said, "The only life is this worldly life and here we shall live and die. It is only time which will destroy us" They have no knowledge about this. It is only their guesswork. 24 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, their only argument is to say: "Bring our ancestors back, if what you say is true." 25 Say: "It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt": But most men do not understand. 26
