The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In pillars stretched forth (i.e. they will be punished in the Fire with pillars, etc.). 9

Almighty God's Truth.
