Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
