Al-Mulk 2 of 2
He it is Who hath made the earth subservient unto you, so Walk in the paths thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection (of the dead). 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you, the while it rocks? 16 Or are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not send down upon you a punishment? Then shall you know how was My warning. 17 And assuredly those before them belied; then what wise hath been My wrath! 18 Do they not see the birds above them spreading and closing their wings? None save the Merciful sustains them. Surely, He observes all things. 19 Which is your army that will come to your aid against the Merciful Lord? But the unbelievers are in utter delusion. 20 Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion. 21 Will he find the way who grovels flat on his face, or he who walks straight on the right path? 22 Say: “He it is Who has brought you into being, and has given you hearing and sight, and has given you hearts to think and understand. How seldom do you give thanks!” 23 Say: He it is Who multiplieth you in the earth, and unto Whom ye will be gathered. 24 They say, "When will this torment take place if what you say is true?" 25 Say thou: the knowledge is only with Allah, and I am but a warner manifest. 26 But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call." 27 Say: "See ye?- If Allah were to destroy me, and those with me, or if He bestows His Mercy on us,- yet who can deliver the Unbelievers from a grievous Penalty?" 28 Say: "He is the Most Gracious: we have attained to faith in Him, and in Him have we placed our trust; and in time you will come to know which of us was lost in manifest error." 29 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Tell me! If (all) your water were to be sunk away, who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?" 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
