Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven and the night-comer 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 Let the human reflect of what he is created. 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Lo! He verily is Able to return him (unto life) 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile). 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
